Flix SE (Flix Inc, US) is a global transport provider and tech unicorn. It provides sustainable travel to the masses using is advanced booking platform. As a part of the brand team, I was tasked with preparing the brand for its US launch.
OUTCOME
Our insights found that our brand wasn't appealing to our core target demographic of millennials and students. To solve this issue, I removed the detailed illustrations and brought in a space grey colour to balance our iconic green colour.
A strategic change I made when approaching the US market, was with the brand's image styling. In other markets, wanderlust and heavily edited images were present. For the US, we focused on showing our core demographic enjoying important travel moments, locations and journey experiences inside the buses themselves.
Below, I designed, edited and animated a promotional video for Flix US. The ad was used as a Google UAC ad and become one of the top-performing and converting ads of all time.
